Well alright.

Time to hop on the blogspot bandwagon I suppose... While my friends have the advantage of exotic places to inspire exciting and thrilling entries, I'll have to make do with the quiet Bay Area. Admittedly, I likely won't write often, as I'd much rather read about Lisa's adventures and comedic mishaps in Bordeaux, Gus' dental disasters in Manila (I take it you're still alive and in possession of both kidneys), cake wrecks, and whatever else I happen to stumble upon.

So what can I offer you all? Let's see... Oh. Actually I have taken a little trip of my own, and if anyone needs convincing of my current mental state at home (or why not to bother with this blog), then this petite histoire should do the trick.

The Adventures of Sarah's Package: From Chelmsford, MA to Hillsborough, CA

Perhaps the cruelest thing the postal service, namely UPS, could have ever done for people like myself is offer online package tracking. Remember the days of excited suspense waiting for a package to arrive, and the subsequent glee you felt when it showed up on the least expected of days? Well unfortunately those golden days are gone. Oh I know no one forced me to set up an online account and add a Deliveries app to my phone, that took little convincing. But all the same, I can't help but be nostalgic as I refresh the UPS web page and think, maybe, maybe this time it will show that glorious departure scan. As you've likely guessed, my first blog entry entails me living vicariously through my package as it made its transcontinental odyssey beginning in Chelmsford, MA (exact address unknown) and ending upon its seemingly unscathed arrival in Hillsborough, CA (exact address withheld). What were the contents of this intriguing package, you ask? Well that answer will come with time and (lots of) patience.
